Imprimatur \Im`pri*ma"tur\, n. [L., let it be printed.]

Imprimatur is a free, multi-user, online system for creating posters for paper of various sizes. It produces documents of type PDF (portable document format), and it requires that Java support be enabled in your browser. If you save a poster, data will be sent to the server and your document will be archived for others to see.

It was produced by Andy Deck in 2004-2005 with financial support from New Radio and the Performing Arts. The artist would like to thank the various artists and graphics professionals who have been invited to produce the first posters. In addition to their visual skills, they have provided valuable feedback.
