News reports spoke of a "suspect," but because he had been blown up by a rocket fired from an unmanned drone vehicle, a trial and investigation of facts would be unnecessary. But the reports in the American press did stress that a piece of a leg was identified as belonging to an Al Qaeda member. It was not clear whether the other five men in the car were suspected of anything other than guilt by association.
