The new Iraqi flag

The corporate take over of Iraq is underway. According to the British newspaper The Independent Iraqis are furious about the new flag that was designed for them in the U.K. Here's a sneak peak at the new design.

Meanwhile, AP has been distributing this image of the old Iraqi flag (I found it on the CNN website in the Lou Dobbs area).

It's based on a rejected design (see below) proposed by the Pepsi corporation. A spokesperson for Pepsi said the soda giant was "disappointed that their design had been rejected," but added that "they would just have to redouble their usual product placement strategies."
