Invest Now Or Face Irreversible Effects of Climate Change

It is technically feasible to transition to a low-carbon economy according to Youba Sokona, the co-chairman of IPCC Working Group III. What is lacking are appropriate policies and institutions. These comments came in relation to a new report from the UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, which concluded that policy changes are badly needed to mitigate the impacts of human generated greenhouse gases.
